The 3500xl genetic analyzer (Life Technology) is fluorescence-based DNA analysis system that use proven capillary electrophoresis technology with 24-capillaries.
It allows to run two different modules:
- The resequencing module, which gives you up to 900bp and allow you to perform mutational profiling, SNP validation and screening.
- The fragment analysis module, which allow you to perform microsatellite analysis, cell-line authentication, LOH and AFLP.
These genetic analyzer is fully automated, from sample loading to primary data analysis.
